Invite Rex, the Ready Kids mascot, to one of your Ready Georgia events.

Rex, a strong and confident mountain lion who encourages children to help their families prepare, is the mascot of the Ready campaign. Rex serves as a positive role model for children and is a valuable tool for educating them about the importance of emergency preparedness in their homes, schools and communities.

You can download this form to invite Rex to your event.

More information from Rex and fun games for kids are available at ready.gov/kids.

Here are just a few events Rex enjoys attending:

  • Local sporting events
  • Local community events
  • State or county fairs
  • Community or organization meetings
  • Local zoos: Emergency Preparedness Day at the zoo, Rex could hand out brochures
  • Library events
