The Largest Earthquake Drill in Georgia

April 28, 2011 at 10:15 a.m., wherever you are — at home, at work, at school, anywhere — you should Drop, Cover, and Hold On as if an earthquake were occuring and stay in the position for at least 60 seconds.

2011 is the first year of The Georgia ShakeOut, a drill designed to educate the public about how to protect themselves during a large earthquake, and how to get prepared. It will be the largest earthquake drill to ever take place in Georgia and more than 96,200 people from the state are currently registered to participate in the 2011 ShakeOut Drill. Join us!
